Be Strong and Courageous – Joshua 1:1–10

In just ten verses, God commands Joshua three times to be strong and courageous. Why? Because strength and courage go together. You can't be weak inwardly and courageous outwardly. Courage comes from inner strength— knowing that God is with you.

You're about to enter a new season, face new opportunities, carry new responsibilities, or walk into a venture you've never done before. And God’s message is clear:

“Be strong and courageous—before you step into it.”

Why? Because if you go in with fear and weakness, you're likely to sabotage what God gave you the grace to lead.

“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

— Joshua 1:9 (NLT)

And by the way, despite what culture says—

Courage doesn’t mean "do it afraid."

Courage means you're NOT afraid!

You’ve been commanded. Now step boldly.

BE STRONG. BE COURAGEOUS. GOD IS WITH YOU.
