We are Built To Last!

When God built Adam and Eve they were built to last; Including their marriage and work (or business).

Gen 5:5 Altogether, Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died.

Adam's systems, spirit, soul, and spirit were built to last.

Mankind was built to last. Your systems, body, spirit, and soul are all meant and built by God to last. Not to malfunction or have any dysfunctions. God doesn’t create dysfunctional things or people. Satan robs people and things of their functionality. When we work with the devil we start malfunctioning. This means making bad decisions that eventually lead to malfunction.

Noah's Ark

The Ark was built to last. To withstand the flood. When we build ministries, businesses, and anything God told us to do they are supposed to be built in a way that will last and create a legacy.

The Everywhere Network / Everywhere Church is built to last. Our mission, our people, our businesses, our structures, our churches, everything is built to last.

The creation process may take many years because we are building something to last for many years. One theologian did extensive research and said it most likely took Noah 75 years to build the Ark.

It took God time to create and He created everything with His mouth! Creating things that will last takes time.

Toyota builds cars that are built to last. Ford Trucks are built "Ford Tough"!

This is why we should take care of things because even though you initially build something to last, you still have to do routine maintenance.

God is a legacy God. He likes establishing kingdoms forever.

  • 1 Samuel 13:13 “How foolish!” Samuel exclaimed. “You have not kept the command the LORD your God gave you. Had you kept it, the LORD would have established your kingdom over Israel forever.

God designs things to last, to be complete, to finish. But there must be proper maintenance and management.

Gen 2:15 The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.

Management helps things to last. Adam had to manage the Garden. We must also manage what God gives us. If we want our bodies, land, homes, relationships, marriages, ministries, money, and businesses to last then we must do routine maintenance. We must manage everything properly.

Corrosion: Corrosion is a natural process that converts a refined metal into a more chemically stable oxide. It is the gradual deterioration of materials.

How to stop corrosion. The rusting of iron can be prevented by greasing, painting, galvanizing, anodizing, or oiling the surface.

Satan wants anything that God does to deteriorate. But it's a gradual thing and that's why people think they can get away with mismanaging their lives. The gradual effect deceives people into thinking that all is well. But it's not well if you're not managing your life and your things well. Corrosion is set in GRADUALLY.

1 Tim 3:5 For if a man cannot manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s church?

God expects us to manage what's been given to us. He tells the Pastor that he must manage his own home and also manage the local church. Management is ESSENTIAL.

God is the Author and Finisher but we are the Managers!

God starts it and helps us finish it but we must maintain His standards so we can get to the finish line.

  • Phil 1:6 And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

  • Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

People and covenants

Understanding and honoring covenant relationships will cause you to last. Having hidden agendas, not liking when things don’t go your way, and not understanding the principles of the covenant will have you always running away. You will last as a Christian and you will last and stay planted at the church where God planted you. When you honor covenant you won't uproot yourself. Learn to manage your emotions and you'll last in your church, your marriage, and your friendships.

Romans 1:31 Without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

God's covenant is everlasting. He gives us eternal life, everlasting life. John 5:24

With God is about building things to last and you are built to last! don't be a covenant breaker. Stick with it and watch how you, your relationships, and things will last.
